I finished Seraphina and Magesterium. The former is the draconian one and the later is about a divided future earth where half is science and half is magic. It was a good storyline, but the author’s writing style was annoying and a little boring. I didn’t end up finding out about all of the mutant half-breeds in Seraphina, but there is a woman covered in feathers and a boy who has dragon scales in his throat.
I am currently working my way through The Exiled Queen, from the Seven Realms series. It is turning out to be just as good as the first book. Of the two parallel storylines, I prefer Han Alister to Princess Raisa. Call me a fan of wizards. Apparently they date sometime during this book. Weird concept: princess and a thief turned wizard.
Until next time, I am: still reading.
