I checked out Children of Hurin and The Bourne Identity. Thay both look OK, but I really need to go to Barnes & Noble.
The DNA experiment almost reached its conclusion today. All that is left is to view the results tomorrow morning. Our new experiment looks interesting, but it seems a little less hands on. My mother is being irritating about prom.
Until next time, I am: wearing a green shirt.
Tomorrow is the day we incubate the DNA in class. We may also begin watching Phantom of the Opera in band.
I am re-reading the Maximum Ride books, and I need to see if the school has Fang, Angel, or the new final one. I had forgotten all about them until I found them in my library this weekend. I’m still working my way through Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell. The Chaos Walking trilogy is ok, but not my favorite. I am needing a new book; three at a time isn’t enough.
Until next time, I am: a fan of books.
Archery practice is going great. If I shoot like I did tonight at postals, I will qualify for state. Then again, recurve without sights only requires a score of 60.
My book is still growing slowly, but it IS growing, so that’s good I guess. I still have every more story ideas, but I am saving them for later and confining myself to one book for now. I really want summer to be here again.
Until next time, I am: dangerous with arrows.
I just watched The Fellowship of the Ring extended edition. 50 minutes of extra footage. One of the scenes that was included was a short conversation explaining that a bite of lembas bread would feed a grown man for a day. Pippin ate four cakes of the bread and then becomes flatulent. I really know why this scene was not commonly realeased: It was just wrong.
Until next time, I am: Done stressing about my humorous speech.
All year, I have been waiting for the DNA experiments in Biology. Most of the class has claimed the same. However, when we actually got to the experiments, one person who had been so excited an hour before spent most of the class talking. Grrr, people, grrr.
One act play contest is tomorrow. I will be ready to leave at 7:15 sharp. 😉
Until next time I am: going to bed.
I went ice skating for the first time today. I did pretty well for my first try, but my rear met the ice a little too often. The skates scraped a bit of skin of my ankle. Maybe we can grow somesynthetic skin tomorrow in Biology.
One of the people I was with at the rink fell on his face. He broke his nose and recieved a concussion. On Thursday he will see a specialty doctor and require surgery. Thankfully, I’m not in that state. My back hurts though, and I narowly avoided hitting my head on the ice. Overall, ice skating was fun, but I may need further instuction.
Until next time, I am: bruised and achey.
My back and arms are sore. The first Archery practice after a year of not shooting tends to do that. On the bright side, my accuracy isn’t too rusty. A day or two of practice should help to even it out. I hope to go to state shoot again this year.
My day has been pretty boring: I went to archery practice, I cleaned house, and I worked at the theatre. There is nothing spectacularly interesting about my day. Tomorrow, I go ice-skating for the first time so that should be fun.
Until next time, I am: going to continue with this ending.
